# List public trip participants

> Returns active participants for a visible public trip. The controller respects trip settings for participant visibility opt-out, participant goals, and donation amount display, and caches the public list using a signature of those settings. Public trip pages use this endpoint to render participant cards and choose the participant entity id for checkout.
