# Sync the donor's default Stripe source (or read it back)

> Reconciles the donor's Stripe customer with the `donors.stripe_card_id` we have stored locally. When `action=update`, calls `Stripe::customers->update` to set `default_source` to the donor's stored card; for any other action value, reads the customer from Stripe instead. Returns 200 only when Stripe confirms `default_source` matches our stored card. The route is registered twice in `routes/v1/admin.php` with the same path/handler (legacy duplicate). Requires permission: `donors_manage`.
