# Archive a single donor

> Soft-deletes one donor and cascades the archive to their sponsorships and commitments: every `DonorEntity` is deleted (and the entity's status recalculated), every `Commitment` is deleted, then the donor itself. Sponsorship and donor caches are warmed afterwards. Same handler is mounted at `/admin/donor/archive` (`v1/admin`) and the legacy `/admin/archive_donor`. Requires permission: `donors_manage` and is gated by the `disable_donor_archive` client restriction.
