# Repair a sponsorship missing its commitment record

> Recovery tool for sponsorships (`DonorEntity` rows) that ended up without a matching `Commitment`. Creates a minimal placeholder commitment (type=monthly, frequency=1, method=manual, designation = entity_id, funding flag derived from the program type) so admins can edit it back into a usable state via `editCommitment`. Persists immediately. Currently reads `client_id` from the legacy session — caller must have an active admin session even though the route is also bearer-protected. Validation: `donor_entity_id required`. Requires permission: `donations_manage`.
